The Percon AK 21110 AL audio cable carries 10 AES/EBU (AES3) digital audio signals in a single cable, up to 20 audio channels. It is a practical solution for fixed, multichannel cabling in radio and TV studios, control rooms, technical facilities and professional AV installations.
Each pair has its own individual shield, and the whole assembly is protected by a 100% aluminium overall shield. This double protection prevents crosstalk between channels and external interference. Its 110-ohm characteristic impedance, as required by the AES/EBU standard, and very low capacitance ensure error-free transmission, even over long runs.
The AWG 24 conductors and the cut-and-solder type individual shield on each pair make it easy to prepare and terminate each channel on patch panels, racks and multipin connectors.
