Professional functions for integrators, broadcasters, and production companies

Percon in Modern Theatres

Today’s theatres are technically complex environments that require the seamless integration of audio, video, lighting and control systems to create immersive experiences. Percon offers customized solutions tailored to the specific characteristics of each space, addressing three major challenges:

  1. Complex infrastructure: Video systems in multiple formats, audio networks, fiber optics and automation are managed, all under criteria of redundancy, flexibility and scalability.

  2. Spatial and aesthetic restrictions: Installations are discreet and non-invasive, respecting the architecture and acoustics of the venue through hidden cabling, recessed solutions and modular systems.

  3. Critical reliability: Since any technical failure directly impacts a live performance, Percon designs systems with dual independence, automatic backup routes, redundant power supply and rapid switching protocols.

Percon in Stadiums

Stadiums represent one of the most demanding environments for broadcast infrastructure, combining large-scale dimensions, adverse weather conditions and the need to capture multiple angles of action in real time. Percon designs robust and scalable solutions capable of operating under extreme pressure, addressing two major challenges:

  1. Scale and geographical distribution: A stadium is a distributed network that requires multiple control rooms, hundreds of cameras in diverse locations, zoned audio systems and kilometres of cabling with connection points in hard-to-reach areas.

  2. Extreme environmental conditions: Installations must withstand sudden changes in temperature and humidity, rain, snow, solar radiation, structural vibrations, electromagnetic interference and exposure to chemical products.

Percon in Production Studios

Percon adds value at every stage of the project, combining its manufacturing capabilities with a comprehensive end-to-end service:

  • Custom manufacturing and tailored products: We develop and supply specific equipment adapted to the technical needs of each studio, including solutions for routing, acoustic and electromagnetic insulation, and production control.

  • Specialized technical consultancy: We collaborate with the engineering team on the project specifications and propose the most suitable products for the integrator according to the studio’s requirements for versatility, flexibility and quality.

  • Installer support: We support the installer throughout the entire process, resolving technical issues and ensuring the correct supply of equipment.

  • Training and certification: We guide the end user in the use of the products and, if the project requires it, certify the work once completed.

  • Ongoing support: We remain present after delivery, supporting the client with future expansions or modifications to their production infrastructure.

Percon in Mobile Units

Mobile units are complete production studios installed in vehicles or trailers, capable of being deployed within hours and operating in any environment with broadcast quality. They represent the greatest technical challenge in confined spaces, where every centimetre matters and there is no room for improvisation.

The main challenge is extreme space optimization: control rooms, transmission racks, storage systems, generators, UPS units and microwave or satellite uplink equipment must coexist within just a few square metres. Percon solves this with high-density cabling, organization that minimizes dead space, low-friction connectors for quick changes and clear identification that allows any connection to be located in seconds.

Percon at Concerts and Live Events

Live concerts and events place the ultimate demands on any broadcast infrastructure: a single opportunity to capture the moment, with no possibility of repetition. The infrastructure must be robust, flexible, and capable of adapting in real time to any unforeseen artistic or technical challenge.

The main challenge is the variability of venues: events can be held in indoor arenas, open spaces, festivals with multiple simultaneous stages, or unusual locations such as beaches, mountains, or plazas. Each environment presents its own difficulties: limited or nonexistent electrical infrastructure, varying distances between equipment, electromagnetic interference from lighting and amplification systems, and extreme and unpredictable weather conditions.

Our added value in projects

Percon supports the client throughout every stage of the project, from conception to the growth of the infrastructure:

  1. Technical consultancy: We collaborate with the engineering team on the project specifications, propose the most suitable product for the integrator and develop tailor-made solutions according to the needs of each installation.

  2. Installer support: We resolve any issues the installer may encounter during the process and supply the equipment required for a correct installation.

  3. End-user support: We guide the client in the use of our products and, when the project requires it, certify the work once completed.

  4. Ongoing relationship: We remain present after project delivery, supporting the client with future modifications and expansions of their infrastructure.

Percon: Your Technical Partner in Every Project

Theatres, stadiums, production studios, mobile units and live concerts share a common denominator: technical infrastructure is critical and cannot fail. Each environment has its own challenges — scale, environmental conditions, spatial restrictions, real-time pressure — but in all of them, Percon is present with the same commitment: supporting the project from day one until long after its delivery.

What sets us apart is how we work:

  • With the engineering team: We participate from the specification phase, providing technical criteria and proposing the most suitable solutions for each project, regardless of its complexity or scale.

  • With the integrator: We propose the right product, advise according to the real requirements of the project and develop tailor-made solutions when the market does not offer what is needed.

  • With the installer: We resolve the issues that arise on site and ensure the supply of the equipment required for a correct and efficient installation.

  • With the end user: We train, guide and, when the project requires it, certify the installation to ensure that everything works according to plan.

  • Long term: We do not disappear after delivery. We remain present to support the client in every modification, expansion or evolution of their infrastructure.

At Percon, with more than 70 years of multinational experience, we know that technology is only as good as the people who stand behind it. That is why we do not only manufacture and supply: we become part of each project’s team.
