Percon Broadcast Video Connections
Camera-CCU
These connect the camera to its Camera Control Unit (CCU) in the control room or OB van. A single link carries video, audio, control, power, intercom, tally and return video, with low latency and remote control of camera parameters. They are the backbone of studios, live events and OB vans.
Triaxial
The classic camera-CCU connection. Its double shield provides greater noise immunity than a conventional coaxial cable. Percon offers triax cables for mobile and fixed use, with CPR compliance, and LEMO connectors adapted to each market: the 3T series for France and the 4E series for Spain and Finland. They are compatible with 8.5, 11 and 14.5 mm cables.
RGB, RGBS and RGBHV
These are analogue component video connections, carrying each colour separately and uncompressed. They differ in how synchronisation is handled:
