VARIOUS CONNECTIONS

What are network and data connections?

Network and data connections are physical or wireless links that enable the transmission of information between computers, servers, mobile devices, and communication equipment. Their purpose is to allow data exchange, internet access, device control, and communication between systems in home, business, and industrial environments.

Common physical connections include Ethernet with RJ45 connectors, twisted-pair cables (Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, Cat7, Cat8), and fiber optic links. In the wireless domain, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and RF communication are widely used. These connections ensure speed, stability, and security in data transfer.
